Breathe Skin Therapy created in 2012 and Breathe Body Therapy created in 2014, arise from the experience of Artec that for ten years has devoted itself to the production, research and distribution of certified vegetable cosmetics, partnered by a team that has always worked in the world of professional cosmetics. Breathe represents the well-being of skin, the effectiveness of plants and flowers, the vibration of essential oils, and the respect for our land. Artec had a strong desire to create and offer a vegetable facial and body line to all women and professionals in the beauty/spa field who want to embark on an alternative route including: awareness of the product and raw materials, the philosophy of “transparency” in approaching the customer, personalized facial treatments that combine traditional craftsmanship with the art of re-balancing energy. To produce the entire Breathe Skin and Body Therapy collection, Artec  uses the most advanced organic and biodynamic farming methods – designed to follow the earth’s natural ecosystem – taking into account not only the time and moon phase (balsamic) for harvesting of plants, but also the harmonious relationship between the rhythm of the plant, humanity and the planet. Both organic and biodynamic methods are inherent to eco-sustainable farming projects that also avoid all use of synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilisers or invasive treatments. Artec uses sustainable and renewable sources of energy to operate the machines that produce the Breathe Skin and Body Therapy products. The energy used to run the machines that produce our cosmetics comes from the wind power generated by the Pontedera plant and geothermal energy coming from the Lardarello plant, both located in Tuscany. These energy sources are sustainable and renewable, with very low CO2 emissions.
